When pet lovers travel they often take their pets with them. A dog you can put into the car but a cat you can’t have run all over the place. They a have many different styles of cat carriers to choose from. Whether you are going on vacation or a quick ride to the vet. Always for the safety of your pet put them into a carrier.

They have the standard kennel carriers, these are made from durable hard plastic, they look like a big construction worker lunch box, they have slits in the sides so your pet can breathe and they have a metal fence like door so your cat can see out.

They also make all metal cages, so you can see your pet entirely. Some of them have perches for your cat to sit on. These types of carriers have latches on the doors so they can’t pop open in transit. These very roomy and are great if you want to crate your cat during the day when no one is home.

They have pet carriers that look like handbags. They are made from a nylon material making them strong enough to hold your pet. You can carry your cat anywhere and the carrier does not look like one, they look like a gym bag or even a handbag.

When you travel you want to make sure that your pet is as safe and comfortable. When you place any type of carriers in the car place them on the floor, so there won’t be a chance of them falling off the back seat. Never place your pet’s carrier in the trunk. Lastly, if you have a pet in a carrier and you leave them in the car, even if is a short amount of time, leave the window open just a little bit so they can get some air.
